The Chapter House Choir is a registered charity (no.511629).
The generous support of our Patrons and sponsors enables us to enrich our region’s musical culture through hosting community events such as Come and Sing days and choral collaborations. It also enables us to commission and share new exciting choral music - an important part of the life of our choirs.
Our Patrons enjoy:
- Priority booking at the start of each season for Chapter House Choir events
- Advance warning of ticket sales for our sell out 'Carols by Candlelight'
- Reserved seating for Chapter House Choir concerts (excluding York Minster Nave)
- Email updates on choir plans
- Pre-concert exclusive talks (at least one per season)
- Occasional post-concert receptions where you can enjoy a drink and a chat with members of the choir
As a Patron, we ask you to set up a donation by monthly standing order to the choir for a minimum of £4 per month (or £6 per month for joint patrons). If you are a UK tax payer, you can increase the value of your donation through Gift Aid, which enables the choir to reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift – 25p for each pound you give.
